Prayer

We believe that if a church is to make an impact in this world by spreading the gospel, then it must be a praying church. We are therefore committed to encouraging each other in prayer through various means, as well as providing opportunities for the congregation to gather for special times of prayer.

We invite you to join us in praying for our church, our city, our nation, and our world. We believe that all who love Christ and his gospel have a valuable contribution to make to our common prayer life.

OPPORTUNITIES TO PRAY

Friday Morning Prayer Meeting

Each Friday morning a dedicated group led by Deacon Itunu Adekoya s gather to pray for the mission and vision of Grace Covenant while also encouraging and uplifting one another. This group meets in the Chapel at 7:30am. We invite you to join them for this ongoing, important time of prayer.

Sunday Morning Prayer Meeting

Each Sunday morning a dedicated group of Grace Covenanters gather to pray for our church, our city, and our world. This group meets in the Social Room at 9:15am. We invite you to join them for this ongoing, important time of prayer.

Small Groups

Prayer is, to a large extent, a practice of the community. We are called by God to seek him in prayer together, to confess our sins in community, and to bring our requests to him as a body. We do this in many contexts, but especially so in Small Groups, where we are able to discuss prayer concerns and take time to intentionally pray for one another. Prayer Partnerships

A growing number of people in our congregation are committing to partner with each other in prayer. Some meet in homes. Others go on prayer walks in the city, asking God to bless and guide our neighbors. If you’d be interested in partnering with someone in prayer, please speak with a pastor about opportunities.

If you or someone you know are in need of prayer, please contact one of the pastors at the church office.
